Yesterday, the residents took a day trip to the beautiful river town of Ripley, OH. They enjoyed a delicious lunch at Rockin’ Robin’s Soda Shoppe, complete with 50’s and 60’s memorabilia. After lunch, a few residents took a short stroll along the river and watched the barges floating by. They also had to the chance to drive by and see the Rankin House, a stop on the underground railroad. On the way back to Pinebrook, we stopped at U.S. Grant’s birth place for a short tour. Overall, it was a wonderful day out and about!
